We are happy to share the success story of our students Andrea Pozderac, Haris Muharemović and Džan Kukuljac, who are actively involved in the European Youth Parliament.
The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is a politically unbound non-profit organization established in 1987 in Fontainebleau, France. Its goal is to encourage European youth to actively engage in citizenship and cultural understanding. It involves 50 000 youngsters from all around Europe and has around 5000 active members in different countries. EYP is present in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2013 with 5 regional offices in Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla, Mostar and Banja Luka. Through its various projects, EYP BiH manages to engage more than 2500 youngsters and promotes the values of excellence, diversity, integrity, responsibility and goodness.
2 out of 4 members of the EYP BiH Board are SSST students Haris Muharemović, who is responsible for public relations and Andrea Pozderac, who is responsible for Engage Europe projects and collaboration with companies, while Džan Kukuljac is the office and membership coordinator in Sarajevo. Apart from being ambitious, driven and engaged in the issues that are meaningful both locally and globally, they are 1st-year students of Political Science and International Relations (Andrea) and Computer Science and Information Systems (Haris and Džan) at SSST.
SSST strongly supports all efforts put in building a better place for us all to live in and prosper. We are particularly proud to have members of our SSST Family engaged in such manner.
