MEDIA REPORTS: GRADUATION CEREMONY 2016 AT…

CS Courses

Date: July 1st, 2014

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is an active undergraduate programme, where courses are designed to include lectures and tutorials.  Tutorials are usually held in the laboratories and represent the hands-on part of the course. Group work and group projects are very common and students thereby learn how to work in a team and share responsibilities. They acquire important project management skills which are of great value later at their workplace. Students are taking two major exams, the mid-term and the final exam. These two carry most weight in their assessment. However, their coursework, which may take in projects, papers, lab assignments and other, is also graded. Students are expected to deliver their coursework on time and participate actively in class. In the final year of studies students are required to write their senior thesis. This individual research project is spread over two semesters and the student works closely with his/her advisor from the faculty (and industry, if a connection is established).

To receive a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree, a student must obtain at least 240ECTS credits.
