MEDIA REPORTS: GRADUATION CEREMONY 2016 AT…

FL Courses

Date: January 13th, 2017

We offer two Bachelor Programmes; Bachelor of Arts in English and Applied Studies and Baschelor of Arts in German Language and Literature.

The Bachelor of Arts Programme in English and Applied Studies is a unique blend of linguistic, literary, methodological, translation and other courses, offering its students a thorough survey of all aspects of what it means to speak English – its grammar, syntax and meaning, as well as a look at the most relevant literature written in English from the earliest records to the present day. This programme is specific in that it is (not exclusively) geared to non-native speakers of English, increasing their proficiency through theoretical and hands-on practical training in such a way that they are able to work with English independently and with near-native fluency, and teaching them how to put their practical skills in English to use-  by giving them the tools to teach English as a foreign language, and analyse English for the purposes for translation, literary analysis and other tasks.

To receive a Bachelor of Arts in Modern languages, majoring in English Language, a student must obtain at least 240ECTS credits.
