MEDIA REPORTS: GRADUATION CEREMONY 2016 AT…

PSIR Courses

Date: December 14th, 2017

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations is an active undergraduate programme, designed on the model of the most advanced degree programmes in the UK, recognized and accepted in BiH and internationally. The programme covers a broad spectrum of academic approaches and expertise, including history of political thought, political philosophy, contemporary political theory, comparative politics and the detailed study of institutions and policy-making in different areas of the world, with special focus on Europe. Themes, issues and learning materials are harmonized with global trends of the practice and science of politics while accommodating certain local and regional specifics. Students are taking two major exams, the mid-term and the final exam. These two carry most weight in their assessment. However, their coursework, which may take in projects, papers, and other, is also graded. Students are expected to deliver their coursework on time and participate actively in class. The final year of the programme, organized in a unique manner around a number of workshops offered by the Faculty and guest experts in the field, is tailored to the interests of students. Added to this, in the final year of studies students are required to write their senior thesis. This individual research project is spread over two semesters and the student works closely with his/her advisor from the faculty.

To receive a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations degree, a student must obtain at least 240ECTS credits.
