  • The aim of this module is to guide students through the process of final thesis writing by clarifying expectations and discussing any research and writing related issues that may arise.

It is essential that students attend all class meetings, as they will be based around student discussions on their research process in general, as well as specific concerns that students have at the current stage of their work. All students are required to participate in these discussions and give progress reports.
  • Students should expect to undertake substantial work outside of class in the forms of targeted readings related to their projects, identifying a research questions, organizing research strategies, and completing assignments that will lead to their final thesis projects. Before starting this course, students are expected to have their thesis proposal approved and supervisor assigned. All students will receive written and verbal feedback on their assignments for outline, 1st and 2nd drafts of their theses. Module coordinator will make sure that thesis format is in accordance with thesis guidelines, while thesis supervisors will be giving suggestions or making corrections for the content of the thesis. During this course, students are required to meet with their supervisors at least twice. Students must obtain the supervisor’s written approval before submitting the final version of the thesis.
