Official Visit of The Hon. Dato’ Seri Ir Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar to SSST and Meeting with Academician Ejup Ganić

Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) had the honour of hosting The Hon. Dato’ Seri Ir Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, Chief Minister of Terengganu, Malaysia, during his official visit to Sarajevo on 2–3 June 2026.

The visit included a courtesy meeting with Academician Ejup Ganić, Chancellor and Founder of SSST, held at the SSST campus. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Emir Hadžikadunić and Prof. Marko Attila Hoare from the Faculty of Political Sciences at SSST.

The discussions reflected on the longstanding friendship and historical ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia, including shared moments of cooperation and mutual respect between the two countries. The conversation further addressed contemporary global political and economic developments, with particular attention to evolving geopolitical dynamics and the changing international order.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to reaffirm mutual appreciation and to express openness toward strengthening dialogue and future cooperation in areas of shared interest between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia.

Following the meeting at SSST, The Hon. Chief Minister and Academician Ganić visited the Mahathir–Bosnia Friendship Monument in Sarajevo, symbolising the enduring friendship between the two nations.
