On February 19-20, AAB College in Pristina hosted a 16-hour training session titled "MOOC Design: From Concept to Development

SSST professors Adnan Huskić and Emir Hadžikadunić participated in a 16-hour training session at AAB College, Pristina, exploring the future of online learning through the Homo Digitalis project. Led by experts from the University of Patras, the event united universities from across the Balkans to foster inclusive and innovative education.

MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) are digital learning platforms that enable mass education worldwide. This intensive two-day training covered key topics such as institutional strategies for MOOC development, content creation, technological platforms and support tools, quality assurance, and implementation.

The sessions were led by Professor Emeritus Nikolaos Avouris, with support from Professor Christos Sintoris from the University of Patras, Greece.

This training was part of the Homo Digitalis project ("Bridging the Digital Humanities and Educational Media Divide"), co-funded by the European Union. The initiative brings together university partners from Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, and North Macedonia, offering valuable insights into inclusive education for all.
