SSST Welcomes a New Generation of Students: Orientation Day on October 5

We are delighted to welcome a new generation of students to the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology and to mark the beginning of their academic journey at SSST.

Orientation Day for freshmen will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM in Amphitheater P13.

Orientation Day is an important first step in introducing our new students to academic life at SSST. During the event, students will be addressed by the University Chancellor and the Deans of their respective faculties, and will have the opportunity to meet the professors and teaching assistants who will support them throughout their studies.

Students will receive detailed information about the beginning of classes, their academic responsibilities, expectations for the upcoming semester, and other important aspects of studying and university life at SSST.

Freshmen enrolled in Computer Science, Economics, Political Science and International Relations (PSIR), and Game Design and Development (GDD) will also be welcomed by representatives of our partner institution, the University of Buckingham, UK.

During Orientation Day, all freshmen will receive their Freshmen Welcome Package, which includes a student guidebook, class schedule, and other useful information to help them successfully begin their studies at SSST.

Starting university marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter filled with new experiences, friendships, challenges, and opportunities. We look forward to beginning another academic year together and welcoming a new generation of future professionals and leaders to our university community.
