University SSST Strengthens Industry Collaboration Through Partnership with ASA Institute

Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) recently hosted a lecture organized in collaboration with ASA Institute Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at further connecting academic knowledge with real-world industry practice.

This activity follows shortly after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SSST and the ASA Institute, formalizing the collaboration and establishing it as a concrete, operational framework—marking a shift from the idea of international cooperation to its practical implementation. During the lecture, representatives of the ASA Institute presented their work, research activities, and projects in the fields of development, EU initiatives, and scientific research. A particular focus was placed on the launch of the first internship programme, which will enable SSST students to gain direct experience across various areas, including research and development, marketing, IT, legal and financial operations, as well as international relations and business development. This initiative opens new opportunities for students to gain practical experience alongside their academic education and to more clearly shape their professional paths. Through collaborations such as this, SSST continues to strengthen the link between education and the labour market, providing students with the tools needed for career development and active participation in a modern professional environment.
