From SSST to Washington, D.C.: The Inspiring Journey of Adna Softić
We are proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our alumna, Adna Softić, whose dedication and passion for political science and human rights have led her to the heart of American politics.
Greetings from Washington, D.C.!
We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our alumni student, Adna Softić, from the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, who is now working in one of the most exciting and influential environments in the world of politics and human rights.
After completing one of the most demanding programs at the Geneva Institute, where she worked for Peace Dividend Initiative, she focused on women’s rights and security.
Currently, she is a Tom Lantos Fellow and works for the Democratic Women’s Caucus in Washington, dealing with legislative issues and organizing events with influential leaders like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sophia Bush.
One of her unforgettable moments? A conversation with AOC about Bosnia and Herzegovina, while her brilliant analysis was praised by Sophia Bush.
And, of course, she had the honor of meeting Nancy Pelosi! We couldn’t be prouder of her achievements.
“Your support and mentorship at SSST were crucial to my professional and academic development. Thank you for preparing me for the great challenges!” said Adna.
We are proud of the remarkable successes of our alumni and look forward to the new stories and accomplishments yet to come.
