SSST Graduation Ceremony: Celebrating Excellence and New Beginnings
Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) University ceremoniously marked the achievements of its undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral graduates of the Class of 2025. This year, SSST proudly bid farewell to its 18th generation of young leaders in the fields of Computer Science, Game Development, Economics, Political Science and International Relations, Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
Over one hundred graduates gathered with their professors, mentors, families, and friends to celebrate the closing of one chapter and the beginning of new professional challenges.
The ceremony was filled with pride and a strong sense of community, reaffirming SSST’s unwavering commitment to excellence and adherence to international standards in education.
The event was attended by numerous distinguished guests and representatives of the academic community. Addresses were delivered by Academician Ejup Ganić, Founder and President of SSST University, Prof. Dr. Vjekoslav Domljan, Rector of SSST, Prof. Harriet Dunbar-Morris, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Buckingham, and H.E. Julian Reilly, British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event was further honored by the presence of H.E. Rezaq Namoora, Ambassador of the State of Palestine, and the Mayor of Sarajevo, Mr. Samir Avdić, once again highlighting the importance of SSST as an institution that fosters strong international partnerships and academic collaboration.
One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was the recitation of the Hippocratic Oath by the graduates of SSST’s Medical School. The oath was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Alen Pilav, General Director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), reminding attendees of the fundamental values of the medical profession – humanity, responsibility, and dedication to the patient.
The graduation ceremony was not only an occasion to celebrate student success, but also to reaffirm the importance of education as a key driver of societal development.
