University SSST Contributing to the Future of Innovation in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Azra Bećirović, joined the official launch of the EIT Community Hub Bosnia and Herzegovina as a panel speaker, highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and entrepreneurship.

On 11 June 2026, Prof. Azra Bećirović, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST), participated as a panel speaker at the official launch of the EIT Community Hub Bosnia and Herzegovina, held at Sarajevo City Hall.

As part of the panel discussion, "From Startup Potential to Scale-up Success – How Bosnia and Herzegovina's Startups Can Grow with EIT," Prof. Bećirović joined leading experts in exploring how stronger collaboration between academia, industry and innovation stakeholders can accelerate entrepreneurship, technology transfer and the growth of startups across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The launch of the EIT Community Hub marks an important milestone in strengthening Bosnia and Herzegovina's connection with Europe's largest innovation ecosystem, opening new opportunities for researchers, universities, entrepreneurs and future innovators.
