Professor Christian Schwarz-Schilling presented with the honorary Professorship declaration

The Christian Schwarz-Schilling Professorship was officially launched with the start of the 2020/21 Academic Year, at the Graduation Ceremony of the 13th generation of SSST students, on September 26. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic travelling restrictions, Professor  Schwarz-Schilling was unable to participate to the Ceremony. Dr. Adnan Huskic, SSST lecturer and the first Christian Schwarz-Schilling Professor of International Relations and Political Science, has received the honorary declaration on his behalf. 

A month after, this declaration has finally reached its destination in Berlin and was presented to the Professor (personal photos, courtesy of the Office of Professor Schwarz-Schilling). 

Once again, it is the hope and determination of the University SSST to see a new generation of political experts and diplomats impacted by this Professorship, honoring the legacy of sharp political skills, diplomatic ability and integrative mediation expertise attributed to Professor Schwarz-Schilling.
