The tuition fee also covers the costs of all required course materials and books, which are provided by the University as part of our comprehensive student services package.

Students have the possibility of taking out special student loans to finance their education at SSST. These loans are designed for students through special agreements between SSST and a number of leading banks in BiH, allowing students to secure loans with lower credit rates, where the loans are paid off – in instalments – only following graduation, with a grace period of up to four and a half years.

SSST Finance Office is tasked with administering student loan agreements and is available to each individual student for consultations, providing help and advice in managing the financing of their education at SSST.

The MET Foundation and the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) are offering a number of scholarships, with the possibility of extending the scholarship decision, subject to the candidate meeting of all the requirements stipulated by the SSST Scholarship Rules and Regulations.

Scholarships are available to both SSST's current and prospective students. Aside from scholarships and/or financial aid available to students through direct applications to various international and national companies and European funds, University SSST offers scholarships to high-achieving candidates.

SSST scholarships are available both as a single instalment (yearly scholarship) and for covering the full and partial student tuition fee (in duration of the full academic programme).

The funds for scholarships and financial aid are periodically extracted from donations to our university.

Conditions for Scholarships and Financial Aid for Current SSST Students

SSST students with a GPA over 8.5 (out of 10) can apply for scholarships at SSST University. Depending on the availability of funds and the number of candidates applying, scholarships can be awarded as partial or full. Scholarships are always awarded on a yearly basis (for the upcoming academic year).

Students whose GPA is below 8.5 and who also have a record justifying financial need are considered as candidates for Financial Aid or a Loan. Scholarships are always awarded on a yearly basis (for the upcoming academic year).

If you meet the requirements, please fill in the Current Student Application Form for Scholarships/Financial Aid. After the Application Form is filled out, please send it to the scholarships@ssst.edu.ba together with the required mandatory and additional relevant documentation.

Applications for scholarships/financial aid due date for current SSST students is 15th of August 2020.

Conditions for Scholarships and Financial Aid for New Applicants/ Perspective SSST students

The possibility of applying for a scholarship for prospective SSST students is open to candidates who have completed their high-school degree with an excellent grade, have passed the SSST University Entrance Examinations, and have received high marks at the SSST interview, following the passing of Entrance Examinations.

Candidates are kindly requested to note down their intention to apply for a scholarship when filling out the SSST Application Forms, which is the first step in the SSST admissions process and then follow the given instructions.

Please carefully fill out the New Applicant Application Form for Scholarships/Financial Aid and send it to the following email address: scholarships@ssst.edu.ba together with the required mandatory and additional relevant documentation.

Applications for scholarships due date for prospective SSST students is the 1st of September 2020.

In order to secure your place at SSST and your scholarship/financial aid, candidates are encouraged to proceed with the application process as soon as possible.

The application procedure and rules do not apply for academic programmes of the Sarajevo Film Academy (SFA). The MET Foundation and University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology offer additional partial scholarships for candidates at SFA (BFA and MFA).
