CALL FOR PAPERS: INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “DIGITAL COMPETENCIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION”
Over the past two years, the project has worked on aligning digital humanities studies and digital educational media in the Western Balkans with the standards of the European Higher Education Area. Key outcomes include the development of new study programs, revision of existing syllabi, and the integration of digital methods in both mandatory and elective courses.
Through expert exchanges, collaborative workshops, and joint learning with distinguished professors and leading institutions, HOMO DIGITALIS has created a strong platform for advancing digital competencies in higher education.
This international conference aims to expand this dialogue, bringing together academics and professionals from across the region and beyond to explore how digital competences can be embedded in curricula, teaching methodologies, and institutional strategies.
Digital transformation is no longer a future aspiration — it is today’s imperative.
Of particular importance is the conference’s focus on ensuring digital inclusion, with attention to underprivileged and marginalized groups, emphasizing that digitalization should bridge inequalities, not deepen them.
