Homo Digitalis Multiplier Event Held in Kosovo to Advance Digital Humanities in Higher Education

From May 12 to 14, 2025, the cities of Mitrovica and Prishtina hosted the second Multiplier Event of the Erasmus+ CBHE project Homo Digitalis: Bridging Digital Humanities and Educational Media in Western Balkans and the EU. The event gathered academic professionals, students, civil society actors, and industry representatives across Kosovo and the Western Balkans to explore the transformative role of digital tools in higher education. Participants engaged in rich discussions around the integration of digital competencies into higher education teaching practices. Key highlights included a tour of IBCM's PsychTech Lab, a joint career fair linking academia and employers, and an interactive MOOC training session led by Polis University. The event also featured a keynote address and panel sessions during AAB’s International Staff Week, connecting the project with broader academic development goals in the region.
The closing day emphasized sustainability and internationalization strategies in higher education. Through a collaborative workshop and follow-up planning session, partners mapped out future steps to ensure long-term impact and knowledge transfer beyond the project’s lifespan. The event successfully demonstrated how cross-institutional collaboration and digital innovation can enhance learning ecosystems in the Western Balkans.
