From the first year of their studies, students of SSST's Medical School are given the opportunity to have practical training. Students attend practical classes as early as second semester in the Emergency Medical Assistance Center of Sarajevo Canton as well as in many community health centers.
In order to provide summer practice for our students, especially for those who are not from Sarajevo, SSST management puts focus on establishing cooperation with all the major clinics in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tešanj General Hospital being one of them. During our official visit yesterday, we formalized cooperation agreement between this important institution and SSST's Sarajevo Medical School.
University SSST Chancellor, academic Ejup Ganić and director of the General Hospital Tešanj, doc.dr.med.sci. Hasan Škiljo signed an official agreement, providing thus to all SSST Medical school students an opportunity to learn from the best experts at the General Hospital Tešanj.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of Sarajevo Medical School, professor Semira Galijašević and professor Besim Prnjavorac who is a SSST professor and also the Head of Tešanj General Hospital Pulmonology Department.
We are honored to start partnership with a hospital that boasts top medical experts who achieve remarkable results and innovations in medicine in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
