It is our great pleasure to inform you that a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology and the Bit Alliance Association for Information Technology. This cooperation aims to strengthen the development of the Information Society in BiH and to stimulate and coordinate research and development of technical and technological achievements.
Bit Alliance and Sarajevo University School of Science and Technology will work on the introduction of new study programs in the field of IT, at both undergraduate and master level of studies, as well as the introduction of specialized two-year IT studies. With aim of promoting the IT profession, we plan to organize Bit Lab classrooms as well as round tables, consultations and seminars that will gather relevant stakeholders, with the aim of improving the work of the University SSST and the Association Bit Alliance.
"Since last night, the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology has been on the list of the best ranked Southeast European universities for the year 2019 according to the ranking list of the British Institute (QS). This significant achievement is a result of the past fourteen years of dedicated work and commitment of our institution. This cooperation will certainly have great benefits in terms of trainings and specialist courses for the students of the University and staff members of Bit Alliance, "said Emir Ganić, the Executive Director of Sarajevo University School of Science and Technology.
Educational institutions are one of the key links of success and executed activities of the Bit Alliance. Through joint contributions with of our partner institutions we create value for the whole BiH society. We are proud of the cooperation with the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, because their results and acknowledged success will certainly contribute to the projects of strengthening the software industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, something that we aspire to." said Armin Talić, the General Manager of Bit Alliance.
