Recently, our fifth year student of the Sarajevo Medical School, Amar Balihodžić participated at the symposium in Vienna held at St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute.
The symposium discussed current issues in cancer research. It hosted a number of prominent scientific and medical leading researchers in pediatric and adult oncology, including those from Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Amar told us this was a great opportunity for him to have the chance to speak with and learn from renowned scientists. He hops this will help him to grow professionally and apply obtained knowledge in the years to come.
Thanks to the support and encouragement by Immunology and Physiology Research Group lead Dr. Mirza Ibrišimović and the University SSST Amar was able to attend this prestigious event.
