Dr. Semira Galijasevic attended the Association of Medical Schools of Europe (AMSE) executive committee meeting that was held in Berlin on February 23 2019. AMSE goals are to develop the relations with other professional, governmental and non-governmental organizations in education, academic management, medical research and health care in Europe.
During this meeting, accreditation and certification of Medical Schools and the quality assurance of medical education and Medical Schools across Europe according to the WFME standards were discussed. A number of issues including relationship between teaching hospitals and Medical Schools, clinical education, research in medical education, ongoing EU projects and future meeting and conferences were also brought up. SSST, Sarajevo Medical Schools carefully follows new policies and guidelines and works on their implementation in SMS program.
