Because of the quality of education, the international recognition of their academic staff and the success of their students, the Sarajevo Medical School and the University SSST from year to year attract more and more attention abroad. As proof of this was the recently published article in the Vienna daily newspaper "Der Standard" for which the Dean for Teaching and Student Affairs at the Sarajevo Medical School, Associate Professor Dr. Mirza Ibrišimović and the fifth year student of Sarajevo Medical School Amar Balihodžić, gave the interview. A well-known Austrian journalist, Alicia Prager, wrote about the current issue of leaving medical staff from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as part of this story Assoc. Prof. Mirza Ibrišimović and student Amar Balihožić got opportunity to talk about this important topic and to present the Sarajevo Medical School and the University SSST to the Austrian readers as a positive and successful example of a higher education institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
