The official Graduation Ceremony for graduates and postgraduates of the University of Buckingham and University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) was held last weekend at the prestigious University of Buckingham (United Kingdom). The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham, Sir Anthony Seldon, has taken the opportunity to greet the guests, hold a speech and congratulate the graduates of both universities for their newly-accomplished academic titles and achievements.
Many distinguished guests from the cultural and public sphere of United Kingdom have attended the event, as well as the officials of the Embassy of BiH to the UK, Executive Director of the SSST, Mr. Emir Ganic and Dean of Students and the Director of Sarajevo Film Academy (SFA), Ms. Emina Ganic.
University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) is the only university in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region whose graduates acquire also an internationally recognized diploma of the prestigious and renowned University of Buckingham, besides their SSST degree. Collaboration between these two universities is truly unique, and this partnership has been extended to the development and maintenance of highest academic standards and high-quality education system at the European and world level.
Through high-quality and advanced study programmes for bachelor and master studies, SSST students are being specialized in two areas (major and minor), and they also obtain an excellent level of active English and German language skills, as these are two world languages necessary in modern life communication and business at the world-class level.
