Today we had our first Open Day at the University, and it was a big success, attracting a large group of high school students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Deans of all departments led by our acting Dean of Students, Emina Ganic, presented their work to possible future students of the SSST and spoke about what makes studying at this University so unique, and why does it challenge students to excel and always do better.
After the official part of the introduction, students had a tour on Campus, when they were shown our laboratories, studying facilities, library, IT centre, restaurant and much more. For those who applied beforehand, the entrance exam was organized right after the ceremony. They also had a chance to enjoy the tunes of our Flying Sticks University band while relaxing at our Restaurant and socializing with our students.
This year SSST has a lot to be proud about: we have established and initiated a new programme at our Sarajevo Medical School, been recognized as one of the best 600 universities in the world by QS World University Rankings list, successfully organized many conferences, workshop and guest lectures etc. We hope that many of those who we enjoyed getting to know today will soon be a part of this University and start building their career right here.
