It was a pleasure to welcome another prominent speaker and expert in the field as a campus lecturer at SSST.
On Friday, 5 January 2018, Prof. Dr. Edhem Eddie Čustović from La Trobe University in Melbourne (Australia), held both innovative and inspirational lecture for SSST students, faculty and staff under the title of “Science, innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership – a recipe for success”.
The audience was inspired by his innovative and philanthropic work and was deeply engaged in the discussion that followed. After the lecture, Dr. Čustović gladly took a Campus tour and spoke about opportunities for future collaboration with Prof.Dr. Ejup Ganić, SSST Chancellor, and other faculty and staff members.
Dr. Čustović is an innovator and entrepreneur who is engaged in global-scale endeavours who is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the President of the IEEE branch for the state of Victoria, (Australia) and the Vice President of IEEE Young Professionals on a global level. With his younger brother Rešad Čustović, he founded the "Bosnia and Herzegovina Futures Foundation" that provides scholarships and opportunities for BH students. He also organizes the "IEEE Students and Young Professionals Congress" in Bosnia and Herzegovina that took place in Sarajevo for the 3rd time in December 2017.
