Dr Anes Jogunčić and Dr Aida Saračević from our Sarajevo Medical School were attending a UN Sustainable Development Goals Summit in Senegal, which currently has ten more years to fulfill the mission. Four goals have been discussed among 17 in total: education, transport, health and climate change. The President of Senegal, H.E. Mecky Sall and H.E. Dr. Bandar Hajjar, the President of Islamic Development Bank have formally opened the Summit. Transformers Academy projects have also been presented, and some are indeed meant for improving our surroundings and well being. One of the financed projects is the development and construction of the sugar cane house for Rohignya refugees, and the complete project cost is 150 USD with the 5 people capacity.
The other project is the innovative water filter which can be inserted in the bottle and transform the water to drinking quality.
There have been more then 5000 project applications during the last year, among which 35 best ones will be implemented.
