The last Thursday in February we were with our third and fourth year students from Gymnasium SSST (GSSST) who spent one school day at University SSST as an additional training course and help in choosing their profession and education after high school. Gymnasium SSST is part of the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology family and during the four years of secondary education, they are prepared for the challenges that await them during enrollment in a university. The day spent with our GSSST students we used to present to them our study programmes offered at the University, also students had a chance to talk to the Deans of various faculties and hear more about the work of student clubs and other extracurricular activities at SSST. GSSST students took a campus tour to see the University Library, IT center, labs at the Sarajevo Medical School and Computer Science department. Lastly, during lunchtime they had a chance to discussed their impressions about the day at SSST.
Our main goal and purpose is to guide and help our high school students in the process of choosing their life profession, also to give them support to find a job that they will love, motivate them to continue to learn and chase their dreams.
We are grateful that we see a generation of young people who are eager to gain education, have goals and we are certain that we will always be proud of them.
