We at the University SSST feel especially proud today: the first generation of Sarajevo Medical School students, following six years of hard work, clinical and practical classes, and (probably) many sleepless nights, have graduated to become medical professionals, first from our University. The finest experts from the medical community from our, as well as neighboring countries, have welcomed today 28 young doctors who have proudly recited their Hipocraties oath in front of their teachers, family, and friends. Sarajevo Medical School continues expanding its programme, as our Head of Doctoral Studies, Professor Emeritus Asim Kurjak has pointed out today, in trying to reach the best in the scientific and educational field. The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, Mr. Amir Krivic has honored us today with his presence, welcoming these young professionals on behalf of the educational community.
Our academic staff, administration, management, and everyone employed at the University feel extremely proud to have been a part of these student lives, helping them out in shaping their professional passion. Goodbye, great students – welcome, amazing doctors!
