It was an honor and privilege to receive Christian Schwarz-Schilling at the University SSST, in honor of the professorship that bears his name. This professorship was solemnly announced at the start of the Academic Year 2020/2021 during the graduation ceremony organized for the 13th generation of students graduating from our University.
At that time, due to the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, professor Schwarz-Schilling was unable to attend, so today Adnan Huskić, PhD, professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, as well as the first holder of the Christian Schwarz-Schilling professorship in the field of international relations and political sciences, gave a short presentation of the studies available to students, as well as future plans for the coming academic years.
The goal of the University SSST is to shape a new generation of political experts and diplomats formed by this professorship, thereby paying homage to the legacy which combines the sharpness of political skills, diplomatic abilities and expertise in integrative mediation, such as those that the Professor Schwartz-Shilling himself possesses.
