For the second year in a row, the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) and the largest pharmaceutical company in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnalijek, are providing joint scholarships to innovative pharmacy studies. Five more candidates have the chance to win the scholarship!
The joint scholarship project is yet another successful cooperation between the University SSST and Bosnalijek that will contribute to the strengthening of pharmacy studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and enable the students of pharmacy to find their place in the international labour market.
Pharmacy studies program at the University SSST is unique in the region. Lectures are held in English with parallel classes in German, and emphasis is placed on working in small groups and practical classes which stars as early as first year. Thanks to the cooperation with Bosnalijek, students will be given access to the state-of-the-art laboratories during practice sessions, as well as access to established professionals at Bosnalijek, who will be included in the teaching process as needed. In addition to practical sessions and access to laboratories, interested students will have support in developing key business skills such as communication, leadership and entrepreneurship, which will lead to the creation of new startups and products in the field of health and pharmacy.
Calls for enrolment in the Academic year 2021/2022 remain open until October 3, 2021, and it is enough for the interested candidates to send inquiries at admissions@ssst.edu.ba after which they will receive all the necessary information.
