Bećirović is an experienced public finance professional with strong academic background with over ten years of professional experience in public financial management in Bosnia and Herzegovina, at several levels of government administration, working on budget reporting, controlling, tax policy and international taxation. Azra has significant experience in providing trainings and drafting policy papers in public financial management, contracted by government agencies, in the country and abroad, as well as non-governmental organizations. She is a doctoral candidate and a lecturer in economics, holding a master’s degree in management, with specialization in public administration reform. Bećirović is a frequent participant and presenter at international conferences, contributed to renowned international publications.
