Elma Agić Šabeta holds PhD degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo, (2015), MBA Degree from European School of Business, University of Reutlingen, Germany (2005) and BSc from Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo. Since 2002 she has held various leading positions in the Finance divisions of HVB bank, Unicredit Group and BBI bank in Sarajevo. In parallel, she performs duties of Program Director of Sarajevo Business Forum since 2015. She has been engaged as a lecturer at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology in courses Money and Banking, Introduction to Finance and Understanding Business. She has published papers at international conferences and journals and main research interests include financial markets, asset management, risk management, risk modeling, life insurance, and banking.
