Vjekoslav Domljan is the Rector of the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) and Full Professor at Economics Department. He also is President of the Council of Economic Advisors to the Government of the Federation of B-H. He has held a number of senior positions including Ambassador of B-H to Canada and Cuba; Chief Economist and Executive Director of the Development Bank of the Federation of B-H, Member of the Securities Commission of the Federation of B-H, acting CEO of Aluminij Mostar. He holds a PhD and MBA in Economics from the Belgrade University, and has been trained at Bank of America, SEC, IOSCO and JICA. He has extensive experience in development planning. He has chaired the team that developed the first development strategy of B-H for 2001-2004 under auspices of World Bank, assisted in the preparation of the B-H Strategy for the 2004-2007, been the key expert in the preparation of third economic development strategy of B-H for 2008-2013 and served as Deputy Director, Deputy Team Leader and Strategic Advisor at the LSE Consortium, and is currently engaged by the UNDP at the preparation of Global Framework of Development of B-H and Development Strategy of Federation of B-H 2021-2027.
