DR. MAJA SAVIĆ-BOJANIĆ

Dean of the Department, Assistant Professor of Political Science

Holds a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Economics and International Studies, University of Buckingham, UK. She also holds an MA degree (2005) in European Politics and Institutions with honours from the University of Bologna, Italy and a BA degree in International Relations with Summa Cum Laude and University Honours from Kent State University (2004), U.S.A. She has been a member of the PSIR academic staff since October 2010 and a Curriculum Committee member from 2010-2013. She coordinated all European Commission funded projects held by PSIR department, including Erasmus+ and Jean Monnet projects. She has published papers at international conferences and academic journals, as well as several book chapters. Her research interests include minority groups, ethnicity, migration and diaspora. She is also very passionate about post-communist politics and populism in transition countries (relating to migration policies and minorities).

I have developed a full master degree program in Diplomacy in the period from 2010-2011. The program was fully accredited in the UK and BiH in 2011. I have also participated as external and internal board member for program accreditation and re-accreditation for two UK accredited programs at University SSST. I am a government appointed international expert member for quality assurance for political science and international relations higher education study programmes in Montenegro. I am familiar with course and programme development both at institutional and quality assurance level. I have international experience with master program development in the UK (QAA) and Austria (AQ).
